Thoughts While Observing Highway Traffic

#1

Music, written by a particular soul at a particular time in a particular situation hopes to relive said soul-time-situation through an amp and microphone to an audience for the purpose of connecting to the audience's own often inarticulate souls and situations. The problem is that, while music provides a euphoria reminiscent of the original moment/transcendence/feeling/thunderous force, it never adequately captures it.

But to be fair, that's why we love it, is it not?

To be left wanting more.

The human soul bonds with others in moments of divine silence. Anything lesser "bonding" of two souls needs a less adhesive word. Maybe "stapling".

  1. I like the first one a lot, good hypothesis on why music is so important to a lot of people. Not sure I understand #2 though...stapling?
