Meager man, gun-shy in my head,
Illuminate the crevices,
where I can’t but want to go.
Cryptic symbol,
survey every darkness,
don’t stop until you know.
(What about that corner?
That edge? Will it give me one?)
And the subtle acquiescence
of all I haven’t known
takes its time,
and takes mine.
(What about EXPOSURE!? What about the LIGHT!!!)
[Some things are MEANT to be dark, and need to be black!
What happens when you force EXPOSURE before its time?]
Negatives need no light.
the more I read this (and I read it several times) the more I liked it... well done... a thoughtful piece that made me think... I loved the word play
